Shanee Zamir is an acclaimed classical-crossover soprano coloratura singer, composer,  who performs a diverse repertoire spanning operatic arias and popular songs. Her unique vocal style combines classical technique with contemporary elements, creating a signature sound that has captivated audiences worldwide.
 

Musical Journey
 

Shanee began her musical journey at age six, trained in classical piano. She studied opera under renowned opera composer Ella Milch, developing a distinctive style that blends operatic techniques with new-age music, rock, ethnic sounds, and synth-pop.

Her talent emerged early when, at just 12 years old, she won first place in the 1999 Israeli youth talent competition "Bravo" with her rendition of ABBA's "The Winner Takes It All." That same year, she performed the anthem for one of Israel's largest medical providers, "Clalit," and became the voice of the Israeli Premier Soccer League's team "Maccabi Netanya" (1999-2000).
 

By age 17, Shanee had reached another significant milestone, headlining as a soprano soloist with the prestigious Israeli Cameri Orchestra under conductor Noam Sheriff. She performed at the special "USA-Israel" event at the Tel Aviv Museum, showcasing her "angelic voice" to Israeli government representatives and American dignitaries.
 

Career Highlights

In 2005, Shanee released her first album, with the single "Eretz Hachalomot" (The Land of Dreams) becoming one of Israel's top songs and earning a nomination for Best Song of the Year by the Israel Broadcasting Authority (IBA).
 

Her career reached new heights in 2013 when she competed in the Eurovsion Song Contest, "Israel Pre-Eurovision," (Kdam-Eurovision), winning first place in the Public's Vote with her original composition "Forever," which brilliantly fused Israeli pop and opera.
 

Shanee has performed on Israel's most prestigious stages, including Nokia Arena in Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv Museum of Art with the Cameri Orchestra, The International Convention Center "Binyanei HaUma" in Jerusalem, Haifa International Convention Center, and at the 59th Israel Independence Day main stage celebration.
 

Internationally, she has toured across Israel, Holland, Germany, Greece, Romania, and the United States. Her performances at venues like the Ford Amphitheater Los Angeles, Saban Theater Los Angeles, The Beverly Hilton, and The Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills have earned her the title "The Voice of Peace" for her angelic presence and vocal talent.

Shanee has collaborated with renowned artists including Rami Kleinstein, Harel Skaat, Sarit Hadad, Dana Berger, Hi-Five, Yoni Roeh, Matti Caspi, Craig Taubman, Kosha Dillz, Meir Fenigstein ("KAVERET" Band), Mike Burstyn, Tenor George Komsky, Maestro William Goldstein, Tenor Pasquale Esposito, and many others.

A graduate of the prestigious Rimon Music Academy in Israel, Shanee specialized in Music Composition & The Performing Arts.

She holds a BA in Humanities and Social Sciences from the Open University of Israel and is currently completing her Master's degree in Jewish Education through the international program at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, specializing in entrepreneurship and innovation. 
 

Shanee is the founder and creator of "Dr. Music Academy!" and WIZO San Diego chair.
